Watch the owner train a dog with aggression issues.

In the video above owner Karen Fazio walks you through an actual training of a Doberman for territorial aggression issues. In this video she performs classical and operant conditioning techniques to help change the dog's emotional state to strangers on the owner's property. It's important to note that food is used a great deal in this training and that food will eventually be withdrawn slowly over the course of time. This video captures a first training.

What We Do:

Serving the Tri-State Area, My Best Friend Dog Training, LLC is a private in-home dog training service specializing in aggression, fear, phobias, obsessive behaviors and obedience. We work with your dog and your entire family in the comfort of your home with convenient hours that suit your busy lifestyle.

During each training session every member of the family is encouraged to participate so everyone learns! As a result, your dog gains valuable obedience skills while learning to respect every member of your family, especially children and those with special needs.

Our reward-based training program relies upon scientifically-based behavioral modification techniques that focus on the psychological well-being of your dog. This method helps to ensure that your dog earns a place in your home as a well-balanced member of your family and helps to prevent problem behaviors in the future.

Also, we teach you what your dog is trying to convey to you by training you how to read your dog's expressions and body language, which helps to build a deeper, more meaningful bond between you and your best friend.

Most importantly, our training sessions don't end when we leave your home. We realize you may have questions or issues in between trainings. That's why we're always available to speak with you and walk you through any concern you may have any time, free of charge.
